Categories of personal data

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe (our payment provider). We do not see or store your full card details.

Purposes

Recipients

We do not sell your personal data. Some of our processors are based outside the UK/EEA; where they are, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Information about company officers

Reports may include limited personal data about company officers (e.g. director names, roles, appointment dates) sourced from the public Companies House register. This is processed under the lawful basis of legitimate interests — helping consumers make informed decisions about who they hire — balanced against the rights of data subjects. Subjects can request corrections via [email protected] (see also our Legal & disclaimer).

How long we keep it

We keep order and accounting records for 6 years to meet UK tax law. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve your query and a reasonable period after.

Under UK GDPR

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

How we protect data

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
