What you're buying

searchmybuilder.com produces on-demand reports aggregating publicly available information about UK construction companies. Reports are generated and delivered to you immediately on successful payment. The scope and limitations of a report are described in our Legal & disclaimer page, which forms part of these terms.

Payment processor

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

Customer service is provided directly by us. For any questions about your report, the service, or to request a refund, contact us at [email protected] or via the live chat on this site. See our Refund Policy for the specific refund rules that apply to our reports.

What you mustn't do

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, harassment or spam.
• Attempt to interfere with the service's security, probe, scan, scrape or reverse engineer it.
• Resell, redistribute or republish reports, in whole or substantial part, without our written consent.
• Use reports to make decisions that require professional advice (legal, financial, surveying) without obtaining that advice separately.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of us or any third party.

Ownership

The searchmybuilder.com service, its software, branding, layout and the structured presentation of report content are owned by Thynk Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use a report you have purchased for your own informational purposes. Public records referenced in reports remain the property of their respective sources.

"As is"

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of data or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

England & Wales

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
